Good Day to all whom suffer trying too make payments and raise children..! I Bought a 2015 Kia Optima Brand New From a local Kia dealership here in SC. Bought this car for my daughter for her graduation from college. This car has always been dealer maintained. My daughter works 3rd shift and is a single Mom. She works at the NICU Here locally. She lives with me. So at around 65 thousand miles I noticed the dealership oil sticker was almost out. So trying to keep her ride in lasting condition I Drove her KIA to the dealership like always for full synthetic oil service. The Service tech up front informed me that the full syn. service even comes with a 5 dollar rebate and he handed me a copy from Havoline Oil Co. So I went to customer waiting area. After almost 33min went by I got up and went outside. I Checked out a lot of new Kias on their lot. I Noticed my ride being serviced in the oil service bay so I made my way over there. The first thing I noticed was the tech pouring Car Quest Brand motor oil out of bottle in my daughters car..? I Didn't say anything cause I figured maybe Car Quest and Havoline had some arrangement for their full syn. oil. When I got home I phoned a Car Quest parts store here locally. The Car Quest Rep. informed me that their was no such oil deal between these two cos. This rep also informed me that Car Quest had been bought out" By Advance auto a couple of years back.? So then I drove to O-Reilly Auto and purchased some Havoline full syn. then I Went to a Car Quest " or Advance' and looked real close at a bottle of their at this time" Branded Car Quest Brand full syn Oil. No license agreements stated between Havoline and Car Quest..? So I filled out A Kia how'd we do form that was e-mailed to me. At about 8.33am the service manager from this dealership phoned me. Very nice guy, wanted the car back at dealership ASAP. He admitted this Oil complaint fully and apologized a lot.! So I got my ride there and this service manager took me in his office. We talked awhile and his workers came in and told both of us that they couldn't locate any Havoline full syn. oil anywhere. So they asked me if I would accept Mobil One full syn.? I Said ok. So I Got the Mobil One full Syn Deal and was on my way. The service manager even gave me a ticket for a free service on my next visit for all my trouble. I Thought WOW Now that was Cool..! However when I Took my daughters car and drove her to and from her job I Started smelling Oil burning smell..? So after I Got home and went back outside to check car there's a Huge puddle of Oil under car..? So we haven't drove car and this oil service Re-Doo was done last Friday. So I'm Typing this on Mon morning . I'm gonna be letting y'all know what happens so if you're reading this and are interested please there will be a follow up..! I Still wonder though how many poor folks like me paid for Havoline full syn. and got Car Quest instead and don't know it..? We even got a rebate form from Havoline to fill out..?

I have complained to Gossett Kia that my car jerks and I smell a burning oil smell coming from the engine. I take my car faithfully to the the dealership only for all oil changes, tuned ups and check ups. They’ve always told me that nothing was wrong with my car. I started smelling this burning oil from the engine when I turn my car off and I demanded they check the issue. I was told after leaving my car for 3 days to be diagnosed that my car has a gas leak. I paid $1000 and 3 months later I still smell the engine and the car is doing the same. Needless, to say I don’t feel comfortable that the issue was fixed and will have to find another dealership to fix the problem. But with all these issues Kia is having with all their vehicles, from the engines are bad, easily to be stolen, and now reported gas leaks, a class action lawsuit should be started to protect consumers. It’s too much. The cars aren’t holding up any longer.
