I was driving to work on Friday May 31 2019 when I pulled into Sonic drive in to get some ice. I noticed some smoke coming from under hood and thought maybe a hose was loose. My niece noticed flames coming from under hood and called 911 at 8:19am and by 8:23am the car was completely engulfed in flames and it got so hot that the windows and tires blew out and it melted 2 and a half of Sonics Kiosks and left some smoke damage to outside wall of Sonic. I contacted Kia because I noticed there were several reports of Kias catching fire randomly and believe me this was random. All my indicators were good and no signs of problems. We were very lucky to get out without any injuries
