The contact's daughter owns a?2016 Kia Optima. The contact stated the vehicle consumed an excessive amount of oil. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, the TMPS warning light illuminated. Additionally, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who informed the contact's daughter that the engine needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 53,000.
