Optima Hybrid Hybrid 2.4L

While driving my 2011 Kia Optima Hybrid down the road at 40 mph. the engine started to knock, I pulled over right away as I applied the brakes the motor shut off which is normal for the hybrid, the motor never started again. The motor had seized that quick with no earlier signs.
