February 25, 2012 and Nov 17, 2016 I have had the exact same problem. My car will just shut off while sitting at a stop light, then when I park the car and return to depart, the key will not turn. I had learned form 2012 never to lock the steering wheel, so when I park I leave the tires facing forward and just turn the car off. The dealer replaced the Ignition Lock and the Ignition Switch for $495, however, this morning going to church the car shut off while sitting at a Red Light, fortunately the car started after church. Hopefully, the car shutting off at a red light is separate form the ignition switch and ignition cylinder! Is there any history of this and recourse I can take that the dealer will not disclose?
