This is my third KIA. I was extremely happy with my 2003 and my 2007 KIA. I decided to trade in my 2007 because the 2012 had extras such as backup camera, Bluetooth hands free calling and most important 30mpg in town and 42mpg highway. I have never gotten this and was glad when KIA provided a way to pay us for the difference of a few mpg. Since then I have found the process difficult to report. You have to remember an ID number and a password that I don't remember being told I'd need to remember. Every time I want to get reimbursement I have to go online and file and then go to the dealer to confirm. I don't know the reason the dealer can't just record and send the information in for me at the time of my oil changes or service. Then I got 19mpg in town and find that ridiculous. When I took it into check it out I said for that gas mileage I could have a pickup (which if I wasn't wanting more mpg in this economy I would have gotten) he stated "a pickup gets 15mpg". In town the most I get is 24mpg. On the highway I average about 30-33mpg. I haven't been on the highway lately so I don't know for sure what it is currently getting. I just want my30mpg and 42mpg. Every time I see a Ford commercial I want to cry when they show the perks they offer and the mileage. On top of all of this the car is narrower than my last one and smaller. I find my backup camera and Bluetooth to be awesome.
