The contact owns a 2017 Kia Rio. The contact stated the trunk of the vehicle failed to lock securely. The contact stated that the trunk lock was defective. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed nor repaired. Neither a dealer nor the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.
