Auffenberg Kia in O'Fallon Il charged me a hundred dollars for "labor" and couldn't replace the door handles that they ordered because they couldn't figure out how to get the doors open without tearing up the interior panels which I would not allow. Why would I want the interior of the sliding doors to be broken just to replace door handles on the outside. They even tried charging me a re- stocking fee for the parts they couldn't install...American Express wouldn't allow that. The doors are still broken and won't open from the inside. I see other sedona's on the road with broken outside handles so it must be a common problem. They need to do a recall and fix these doors.

1) the right front passenger door handle broke off. They had to order another one in (took two weeks).
2) Now the right passenger sliding door handle also broke. These occurred about 2 months apart. My dealer is out of town, so yes it is a pain in the a_ _!

When we first bought this Van from Smart Auto in Indianola Iowa the sliding doors were kind of hard to open but the Van was AS IS so didn't really think it would be a big deal. But as time went on then both sides started to go out or stop working that well. Not the dealers fault but after doing several online checks can't find anyway to fix it on my own. Don't have the $$ to fix it either. Kids sometimes have to get into the back or front seats & climb over to get into their seats.
