The back right wheel came off of our 2003 Kia Sedona van. My wife heard a loud noise as she was driving down the road. She applied the brakes but the car had difficulty stopping. She managed to pull the van over to the side of the road. When the tow truck came, it pulled the van about a foot before the entire right rear wheel came off. Had she been traveling on the highway, she and my 3 children might not have survived the incident.
