The contact owns a 2007 Kia Sedona. While driving 35 mph, the hood popped up and smashed the windshield. The contact pulled the vehicle over, closed the hood, and drove home slowly. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V389000 (latches/locks/linkages). The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
