Received Recall Notice SC188 (Fuel Rail Crack/Leak) from Kia for my 2012 Kia Sedona in April.
Noticed a fuel smell and brought the vehicle into south Austin Kia Dealer on Monday May 25th. Dealer has confirmed a fuel rail leak but has no repair solution! Parts are not available. Car has been disabled at dealership due to safety concerns. I have been without the use of the car for three full days and still have not gotten a rental car.
Beware, according to the recall there are more than 50,000 Sedona's involved!
Update from May 28, 2020: Still have not gotten any updates from the dealer.
Now without the promised rental car for 4 full days.
Update from Jun 9, 2020: Still no 'Solution' available from KIA Motors. I had the car towed to an independent mechanic and am replacing the cracked fuel rail with an existing design replacement.
