Sedona EX 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34 miles

THE PASSENGER DOOR( WINDOW, LOCK) CONTROL PANEL BACKLIGHTING DOES NOT ILLUMINATE ON MY 2014 KIA SEDONA EX. ANOTHER PERSON REPORTED THIS SAME PROBLEM AND SAID THERE IS NOT A FIX. MUST BE HOW IT WAS DESIGNED TO BE. KIA REPAIR CENTER ORDERED A NEW PART FOR HIM AND IT WAS NOT CORRECTED WITH THE NEW PART. VERY STRANGE TO DESIGN THIS WAY, WHEN ALL THE OTHER DOOR CONTROL PANEL ON THE VEHICLE ILLUMINATE? IF ANYONE ELSE CAN FURTHER VERIFY THIS OR IF THERE IS A FIX PLEASE LET ME KNOW, THANKS!

the passenger front door. switches do not light up at night

I traded in a 2008 Sedona for this 2014. on Oct 2. The lack of lights on the passenger front door switches were noticed the first time I drove the van a night. I took van into dealer and a new set of switches were ordered. The new switches were installed and still no lights! They checked other new vans on the lot and none of them had lights on passenger side front doors. The 2008 van I traded in did have lights on all doors. Why not the 2014??? The dealer could not tell me why . They didn't even know the problem existed until I brought it to their attention.
