2nd occasion. Was driving 45 m/hr... was going to speed up to 50. Heard a loud noise and car suddenly speeded up, like a speeding bullet, on its own. Brakes were locked down to floorboard. Felt like a hard brick. Lucky I was on a straight part of the highway, was able to stay in my lane. Was trying to get brakes to work, thought I was going to leave highway and crash. Finally I felt the brakes come up, I was able to stop. I have never been so scared of dying. Have an appointment 2/2/21 with Kia to see what the problem could be.
