The contact owns a 2016 Kia Sedona. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the passenger-??s side sliding door failed to lock and opened. The door ajar warning light was illuminated. The contact had to manually close the door. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where an unknown diagnosis was provided. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

The contact owns a 2016 Kia Sedona. The contact stated that the passenger's side sliding door fails to latch and lock. The contact mentioned that while driving at 40 mph, the door ajar warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to king Kia (953 N frederick ave, gaithersburg, md 20879 (301) 948-3333) where the contact was informed that the door latch was not binding and the sliding door was reprogrammed. The contact stated that after the repair the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 39,000.
