Very bad squeal coming from engine compartment. Still trying to locate. This is a low mileage use car. I have another car and use public transportation. Battery charging problem, mechanic replaced the Neutral Safety Switch, which is in the battery circuit. Air conditioning problem, mechanic replaced the Evaporator. Alternator Belt problem, belt broke while driving...mechanic to replace belt for third time.

The 1997 Kia Sephia is the worst car i have ever owned. It has given me nothing but repeated problems. I have had so many parts replaced, I don't think there's a single original major component. I spent more in repairs last year than the car is even worth. it is currently stalling randomly and not even safely driveable. The Blue Book trade-in value is literally "no value" (according to www.kbb.com)

The worst part of it all is that since it is no longer under warranty, Kia Corp. could care less.

I have tried repeatedly for them to do something about this car and their response is always the same: "If you are not under warranty, you are responsible for the car."

Where is Kia's responsibility to the consumer to live up to their misleading ads? Where is Kia's responsibility to deliver a quality product that doesn't fall apart after their warranty expires?

I urge everyone to STAY AWAY from Kia-made cars, unless you enjoy headaches.
