Brakes are noisy. There is an extended stopping distance. Contacted dealer. Consumer states that she has had to shut vehicle off to stop it. (at red light/stop signs) consumer feels by shutting the vehicle off, it will prevent an accident.

A pebble got into the tire, from there it got lodged between the rotor and the brake pad and was causing a screeching sound, Kia stated that this is not a serious problem.
