I bought this used 2007 Kia Sorento in February of 2013. I took it in to have it checked and the idler pulley needed to be changed...because it was making a funny noise when I started it. The only problems since I have had are the ESC light coming on and staying on when I put it in 4WD. It turns out my computer malfunctioned and the 4WD did not work. It cost me $800. But now my TPMS light is always coming on...but I ignore it because I know if I have a flat tire or not...and it's usually cold in the morning which means my tire pressures are low. I haven't used the 4WD yet because it we haven't had a bad storm...but I HOPE it works ( I won't make it home)....or else I am going to pissed.
Problems you can run into:
- 4WD
- Computer Malfunction (lights turning on)
- Idler Pulley Replacement
- Shock Breaks wearing out
- Cheap materials that break easily (rear view mirror fell off...the glass broke)
- Had to replace the radio (some idiot put it in themselves)
