Nowhere else on my car has the paint came off and is rusting except for in the center of the hood at the windshield. I really find that odd.

I've seen so many posts about the bubbling and peeling paint, especially on the pearl white. Like all of you, I too called my Kia dealer and they won't pay to fix it. It's not a recall. So, friends, please contact the Better Business Bureau like I did at https://www.auto.bbb.org/lemon-law-complaint-form/ It only takes a couple of minutes to fill out. Maybe if enough of us complain something will happen.

The paint started chipping off in three points just above the windshield and then it started the corrosion. I am afraid that it might start leaking water inside some day.

Rust is bubbling up through paint on roof in 4 different spots. Kia says paint warranty 3 yrs. tough luck. This was KIA CONSUMER AFFAIRS spoke with 3 different people, same results.

Love my KIA Sorento SX but the paint has a lot to be desired. Although beyond the paint warranty KIA rep stated bubbles caused by rocks hitting the lip above the windshield. Two body shops suspect differently. Hmmmmmmmm, I wonder why other parts of the vehicle that clearly have been hit by rocks aren't bubbling. Paint issue reminds me of the old Subaru days.
