The contact owns a 2012 Kia Sorento. The contact stated that the weatherstripping around the driver and passenger side doors was loose and prevented the doors from opening. Team Kia of bend (611 ne purcell blvd, bend, or 97701) diagnosed that the weatherstripping needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer advised the contact to get in touch with the regional manager for the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000. Updated 11/27/18

The contact owns a 2012 Kia Sorento. While driving approximately 30 mph, the contact depressed the brake pedal but the brakes would not respond. The failure recurred while driving at various speeds. The contact had to apply excessive pressure to the brakes for the vehicle to stop. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing three times.
