Has anyone else noticed rust colored spots in the exterior paint? I have 2013 Sorento with Snow White Pearl paint and noticed a lot of rust colored spots appeared after a good wash out in the sun. The spots do not come out easily, although I have not used a cleaner, and seem to be only on the lower half of the doors and rear lift gate. I have not noticed any of these rust colored spots on the roof, hood, or front of the vehicle. The spots are very small, but noticeable with the white paint. This was the first Wisconsin winter we had the vehicle and I'm concerned these are rust spots coming through the paint. Could this be brake dust stains? I plan on taking the vehicle back to the dealer and discussing this issue with them this week. I will post the response.
