The contact owns a 2013 Kia Sorento. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was towed to Nissan Kia of middletown (4961 NY-17M, new hampton, NY 10958) where it was diagnosed that the starter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the mechanic noticed that the engine failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
