problem #1

May 292012

Sorento EX 4.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 91 miles

There has been a strong vibration since I purchased the vehicle. I've had my car back to the dealer 3 times. They did an upgrade that was support to fix the issue but it did not. The dealer said that I was the small percentage of people who got a sorento that was build in a two month period where there is a idling problem that they can fix. They thru up their hands and said there was nothing they could do. I suffer from severe back and leg pain and this idling is causing me a great deal of additional pain. I am also getting terrible gas mileage. I am studious about keeping the eco light on and still only getting 15-16 miles per gallon. Even on the highway. My Bluetooth keeps disconnecting while on a phone call. My address book in my navigation was wiped clean the other day. Kia dealer is scratching their heads. The rear passenger leather seat is coming apart. The driver electric seat has moved positions while I was at a stop light. I had to get out of the car while in the road and move the seat back into position. It's happened to me two or three other times since I purchased the car in May 2012. I am very disappointed in the kia as I had waited a long time for a new car and this was suppose to be my dream come true car. I am very dissatisfied.
