I saw rat droppings inside my car. I called the dealership to tell them that I thought rats had been in my car. The service department told me to put rat poison inside my car. So I did.

The rats/mice ate through the driver's side seat and got stuck in the electrical mechanism and died. The odor was HORRIBLE. The dealership had to keep my car for 3 days to air out and clean out the odor.

They tried to tell me that they never said to put the rat poison "inside" the car, but I knew exactly the person who told me to do it, so they couldn't deny it. So initially they tried to charge me over $300.

This is the 2nd time in a year this has happened!! Unexcusable!!!!!! We didn't have any trouble with our 2012 or 2014. NEEDS TO BE ON A RECALL!! Consumers should not have to pay for this as expensive as the auto cost!!

We were inconvenienced and for many a very bad budget buster when your vehicle is fairly brand new, only a year old!!
