The contact drove to her destination using the hi-beam headlights. The vehicle was taken to bev smith Kia stuart (3131 SE federal hwy, stuart, fl 34994) and the contact was informed that the low-beam bulbs needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was informed of failure. The failure mileage was 49,014.

The contact owns a 2016 Kia Sorento. The contact stated that the headlights failed to illuminate while driving. The contact stated that driver's and passenger's side headlight bulbs were replaced on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to buchanan Kia (119 railroad ave, westminster, md 21157) where the headlight bulbs were replaced however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was next taken to an independent mechanic for the bulb replacement. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 105,000.
