This has been brought to the dealership's attention, they drive around block [etc.] with no problem. I tell them it has to be driven on highway for short or long distance at around 40 or higher speeds car will drift slightly which is not good the worst is every time you touch to turn or correct steering it always has a catch or sticking felling never smooth.
NOT ENOUGH COMPLAINTS FOR KIA TO BE INVOLVED. I GUESS THERE HAVE TO BE WRECKS AND PEOPLE KILLED. We just keep driving with the aggravation and hope steering don't get us or others killed. THEN AFTER SEVERAL, KIA WILL LOOK AT IT.

Sticky steering wheel. Extremely dangerous. Definitely a manufacturer defect. Warrants an urgent recall of all vehicles to fix immediately.

Brought the car to kia dealership when it was under warranty 2022. Vehicle steering started sticking when we were driving on the highway from illinois to florida. It was sticking so bad we had to use extreme effort to keep the car going straight. Dealership found that there was an issue but it was meeting kia's specs at that time. They would not fix.
Fast forward to 2025 The car started doing the sticking again. The dealership said now it needed a new steering column, but warranty expired. Went all the way up the line to Kia Corporate and they just called us and said there is nothing they can do. Bad enough we had The problem with theft with the USB port. Had to bring the vehicle in to get the software updated. Thieves still break the car windows to try to steal your car. Kia would not pay for the window replacement unless the steering wheel was damaged. Bottom line Kia stinks!!
