Just purchased 2018 Kia Sorento V6 LX AWD with 7,000 miles on it. Driving home from the dealership, air bag light flashing off and on, finally staying on. Researching, there are many, many complaints about airbag light on the 2011 and below models. Most of those were either diagnosed with a faulty airbag control module ($900 part] or a failed passenger seat cushion sensor ($1800 part), and finally a failed clock spring. Bottom line, is this the same issue? No idea yet. It's a total pain to take it back to the dealer, as they are 45 mins away and I have a job and a life. I will check and clean the seat connectors, see if that works. Not a good way to start with issues within an hour of ownership.
