The airbag warning light came on during a trip out of town. When I contacted the dealer, I was told it would take approximately 2-4 hours to replace. A couple hours later, we got a call that it was ready, then almost immediately got a call back saying the new sensor hadn't fixed the problem and they would need to keep the car. The dealer arranged for a loaner and has had my car for a week now. The wiring harness was faulty and had to be replaced. I am thankful that I was not in a wreck because there is some question about whether any or all of the airbags would've failed. I frequently drive with my very young grandchildren in the car and a wreck could have been catastrophic. I hope this is an isolated issue, but I am not happy that this occurred, especially on a vehicle with less than 10,000 miles on it.
