In April of 2019, my car would not accelerate or change gears without pushing the pedal to the floor. This was as the stability icon was flashing. Kia installed a new transmission under warranty. In October, the same car reacted the same way it had prior to a new transmission. I took it to the Kia and reported the same same shifting issues with the same flashing stability light which initiated the the shifting to become rough prior to the install of the new transmission. The Kia dealer said they could not fix it.

I still have 2 months of warranty, but the car cannot be driven safely. I paid $82.00 for them replace a brake switch they thought might help. My car still has the downhill assist light come on while on a flat road, it goes into limp mode and WILL NOT ACCELERATE. My Kia dealer said ”there is nothing they can do”.

All at once, I heard a noise, then I started getting all types of electrical problems. My horn would not work, my fog lights don't work, my windows will go up and down without the key in, headlights won't turn off. Nothing you can do to turn them off, until you open the door and close it again. The incident blew one of my battery cells. The radio sometimes won't work, and my dashboard lights went off, but just a few times. Sometimes my car won't even start. It's just dead. But wait about ten minutes, and it will start up perfectly. Except for the fog lights, these problem are intermittent.
