This was a very intermittent problem in the beginning and because it showed NO CODES very difficult to diagnose and the mechanic couldn't get it to duplicate. It was maddening, within 2 miles of leaving somewhere after a cold start the car would just shut off at a stop light! The dealer also couldn't find the problem a week later except they tried by doing a VPS Injector Service. 2 days later I was back and they tried cleaning the throttle and adjusted the idle because the RPM's were also acting wonky. The next day I returned and they said maybe I needed a tune up because I had a bad spark plug and they wanted me to leave it for a few days. I tried a third shop and they spent a couple days testing it and finally identified the sensor that was bad. It only cost 189.00 to fix the problem but it was hundreds more because of the other attempts.
