The driver side headlight has gone out 4 times. I bought the standard headlights originally, but now have purchased the more expensive headlight since it has a warranty. I have to carry a spare head light and tools just in case I get stuck in town. This isn't easy to do and need an extra person to even pull the headlight etc out of the way to be able to fit the bulb in place. I live an hour from home (rural with lots of possible animal dangers) and commute to work, so this is a challenge when it goes out. In summer time, it's not as scary and I can make it home before dark, but in winter, that it not an option and had to stay in town for my own safety.

Over the last 3 years, I have had this vehicle to 2 different dealers a total of 5 times for the exact same issue with the same conclusion. No idea what is causing it. Only when the headlamps are on and the directional-either side- the headlamps go out completely while driving and taking a turn-mostly rights. By turning off the directional, the lights come back on.
1st dealer changed the turn signal switch and ignition switch on 2 separate trips. Same issues. Took it to another dealer and factory would not let them change the switches again as it had only been less than 2 months. Car still has this problem so we try not to drive it at night much.
I have owned Hyundais for almost 10 years and put over 200k on each of 3 for work and never had any issues. This one, besides the light issues, gas mileage should be better on the highway than 26mpg.
Can't wait to get rid of it!

2014 Kia Soul while driving home at night, headlights went out and I could not even see the road. I turned the switch off then on and they finally came back on. This is happened every night since then. I can not even drive at night now due to this.

The head lights go on and out, makes it hard to drive at night. Taking it to the dealership as soon as I can, but they are assholes too.

Driving at night has become impossible now. I'm driving turn on my headlights and I'm fine for approx. 10 min then the right one just turns off. I click on the bright lights and the bright lights goes on for a few min then it goes out. Went to replace the bulb and the light was working again. so I left the shop went out the next night and the same thing happened again. I am very frustrated with this as it has made driving at night next to impossible as if the other side goes out I'm stuck. If anyone has had this issue fixed and repaired what was the cost?

This was more of a hassle as well as a safety issue since it would work periodically, intermittently.
