I upgraded from a 2014 Kia Soul Base to a 2017 Kia Soul +, no issues with the 2014. I've had the 2017 for 6 months and already had to have the car jumped 5 times and the battery changed out once. The dealer states I am not driving enough because the car has all the frills it uses more battery power. Well I just had to jump the car yesterday and today I need another jump. Overnight the battery went dead.
I drove the car 40 miles and went to Les Schwab to check on the battery and was told it was ok. I suspect a ghost issue in the electrical system because sometimes my dash just brightens after driving for a bit, my lighter suddenly doesn't work and the side mirrors aren't always lit up for the lane departure feature. I am upset since it has caused a lot of inconvenience for me being late to work and having to reschedule appointments. Each time this happens I take it into the dealer and all they say it the battery is ok. I'm looking into seeing if this is a lemon law case.
