The contact owned a 2017 Kia Soul. While driving approximately 45 mph, the contact's vehicle T-boned another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contact sustained injuries to the neck, shoulders, and back. The contact was transported to the hospital. The vehicle was towed to a towing facility and deemed destroyed. A local dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was approximately 12,000.
