At 6350 miles, my 2021 Kia Soul EX transmission gave out. Got part way to the dealer to have it checked out, but didn't make it. Vehicle would lunge and shift erratically and finally would not move. Kia had to send a tow truck to load it up and take it to the dealer for diagnostic testing. I was told that it might be 3 weeks before they could do it as they were back logged. I hope it doesn't take that long as they will only provide a loaner vehicle after it has had diagnostic testing completed and if parts need to be ordered.
