took to KIA around 45 days ago really man. Maui my friend got this extra help thing with his mechanic Muzak Ali no uses he was not available

The car locks all 4 doors with the key in the ignition. This happens mostly at night with the car in the garage but has happened at other times. Called Kia dealer, it is 100 miles to nearest dealer, and they said it was impossible, that the car could not be locked with the key in the ignition. Most of the time it is not that big a problem since I do not leave the keys in the ignition except in my garage but it happened once when I got out of the car to put in fuel which resulted in a $75 for a locksmith to come open.
