Bought car with frozen electric radiator fan. This has only been small issue as the car has a belt driven radiator fan also that keeps the engine within normal operating temperature (in fact, I didn't even know it had an electric fan until two years after owning the car). Only adverse effect is the engine compartment gets too hot for the A/C system causing it to fail (and also effected a different issue I reported about the clutch master cylinder failing).
