Kia took my new to me certified pre-owned Sportage in for transmission problems. Gave car back saying no issues to be found; they drove it 1 mile. Still not fixed.

This was the third time having my transmission looked at. Still nothing is resolved. This time they drove it 46 miles over 5 days. Specifically told them it happens on long trips. Still not fixed.

My Automatic Transmission has been slipping--It then started to get stuck in gear, last time 4th, so it would crawl from stop. I was able to video it while driving in town on a Sunday, hardly anyone on road.. it stuck in 4th gear, unable to manually change gears, the EBD and Electronic Stability lights came on as well. Dealer is checking with Kia, no codes and unable to duplicate problem. Sucks having car note for car you don’t wanna drive. I keep my toddler grandkids. So thankful they were not with me...for once. Gonna look to trade it in.

Brought my Sportage back in for the transmission slipping again. This time they drove it 10 miles and it didn't slip. They were told it happens on extensive trips; I guess 10 miles is extensive.
