license plate lights fell out license plate lights fell out

I had been noticing a rattle in the hatch for a bit which sounded metallic like, not the usual 'thud' from the bumpers. I opened the hatch and noticed the first picture where you can see them 'bulged', after closing the hatch, they both fell out as shown in the second picture. I looked in the slots where they're supposed to go and do not see a mounting bracket of where they could or should have gone, as well as a post being broken on the right light (which is likely from them "bouncing around"). I'm awaiting an appointment at the dealer to have this fixed. No tampering has been done on this (i have a dash cam, nothing was touched) as well as no accidents.
