windshield crack

Car stays in garage. No chips or cracks. Crack appeared this morning after being outside in community clubhouse parking lot for one hour. It keeps growing and is right in drive line of sight. identical location as other complaint on this page. Begins at seal on lower drive side, arches up to the line of sight and traveling to the passenger side.

windshield crack

We have owned this 2022 Telluride for less than 1 month. During our first road trip, with less than 1000 miles on the car, a chip developed low on the drivers side of the windshield (below the level of the hood) and a crack immediately developed.

Telluride SE 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,300 miles

I really love this vehicle but I have never seen a windshield crack so quickly in my 30 years of car ownership. In fact, my other three cars have had chips in the windshield for years with no cracks. This is a brand new vehicle with barely 1,000 miles and two weeks of ownership. I noticed a circular crack of over two feet overnight.
