back windshield cracked while siting in my driveway back windshield cracked while siting in my driveway back windshield cracked while siting in my driveway back windshield cracked while siting in my driveway back windshield cracked while siting in my driveway

My Telluride was sitting in my house parked inside a gated location away from the street. My Telluride had not been moved, driven nor was there any outside activity going on near my vehicle. In the middle of the afternoon my back windshield just cracked in 500 or more pieces. I called the dealer (Valley Kia in Fontana) and informed them that my windshield just cracked out of the now where and said that it was a manufacture defect. They advised me to call my insurance and they will not be able to cover that under the warranty; I informed them that my vehicle was new and only had 6200 miles on it and that it had to be a manufacture defect on the back window. They continued to tell me that they can almost guarantee that the warranty will not cover but that I can take it in next week to get inspected. They obviously did not consider that this is my only vehicle and I would not be able to be without a back windshield until next week. I was forced to call my insurance company to submit a claim to get it fixed as this is my only vehicle that I use and needed my transportation.
