I purchased this 2008 Lambo Gallardo with 20,500 miles on it last year (2017). The AC gave out after 500 miles so the Lamborghini dealership replaced the system including the compressor free of charge. 5,000 miles and 13 months later the ac went out again. They looked at it and said the compressor had a crack in it and would not hold Freon. They also said the compressor (DENSO) warranty was 6 months. So basically I have to pay $3,500 to have the ac fixed on my own now. Is a 6 month warranty normal on an ac compressor? Why would an exotic car manufacturer use such LOW quality parts. I'm afraid of replacing this and it happening again next year?
