The contact owns a 2004 Land Rover Freelander. The contact stated that the vehicle overheated and caused engine failure. The instrument panel lights illuminated and coolant leaked inside the engine and crankshaft. The dealer stated that the air tanks were under warranty and the failures were due to wear and tear. The timing belt was repaired. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The failure mileage was 59,000 and current mileage was 87,000.
