problem #1

Aug 022010

Freelander 6 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 59,000 miles

Land Rover knows about this problem they continued to sell off this vechicle knowing the engines were going to go around 52,000. I asked when I bought the car for the extended warranty and was told I had plenty of time for that! It was only 1500 for it when purchased the car. I was told buy it when the warranty runs out its the same price! Well No it's was 4000. for it when warranty was over! Now engine gone even though my car spent months in Huntington landrover and jaquer dealer for anti freeze smell. Of course they never found it! One time they replaced the heater core when my mechanic sprayed the air vents when I was getting a state inspection! I was told by Huntington NOT to let the warranty run out on this car and to buy it! Car drank antifreeze like cool aide! Why hasn't anyone made Landrover take care of this problem, however got all over Toyota!!
