Prior to event- car would stall out, would have to rev up to get going. Intermittent problems. 2008 landrover LR2 shuts off at idle- bad fuel pump at 50, 000 miles multiple visits to the landrover dealership shop, fuel pump module fixed under warranty as per landrovers suggestion- prior to 50,000 miles, after hitting 50,000 miles and warranty no longer valid, problem found! fuel pump needs replaced for a very unreasonable $ rate. (as originally suggested by owners) see what the shop didn't know was prior to them replacing the module and reading the codes, I went and had the codes read at another shop. The dealership fixed code- PO62800, when actually the codes that the check engine light was reading was 0087, 0305, 0306, 0300. All codes that would have let you know that this was surely a fuel pump error. Obviously a scam, so that the warranty would run up, and we would have to pay out of pocket. In the end, when you read online, this is a very common problem with these vehicles, and these dealerships. In addition, they have also noted that the rear differential needs replaced?
