  • 93,260 miles
1) application of electronic parking brake produced loud grinding sound ending when extremely loud squeal was heard and dash lights illuminated. 2) occurs intermittently and prevents use of the parking brake when car is parked. 3) unit was recalibrated but will need to be replaced. Per the dealer the brake actuator unit has been back ordered for the last 5 months. Leary to use parking brake unless absolutely necessary for fear that unit will fail completely with no replacement part available.
