The contact owns a 2015 Land Rover Range rover. While making a turn at approximately 15 mph, the rear passenger door unlatched independently. The contact's nine month old child was seated in the rear of the vehicle closest to the door. Another passenger was seated on the rear driver's side and quickly reached over the child's car seat to keep the child from falling from the moving vehicle. As a result, the passenger sustained fractured ribs. Medical attention was required. The contact mentioned that the door was tightly secured prior to the release.
