Range Rover Evoque

  • 95,000 miles
The contact owns a 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the vehicle failed to properly accelerate while shifted into driver(D) or reverse(R), with the "Transmission Fault, Select Park Before Engine Stop" messages. The vehicle was initially taken to an independent mechanic where both the fuel tank and an unknown battery piece were replaced; however, the failure persisted. Since the initial failure, the vehicle had been towed to various independent mechanics where the battery was replaced. Soon after the repair, the failure would return. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V635000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) which was linked to the failure. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000.
