The supplementary Restraint System SRS passenger airbag concern.bringing continuous illumination of the SRS WARNING lamp on the instrument cluster.the passenger airbag Disable indicator PADi la, p in the overhead console also illuminates. The conditions doent clear in the next subsequent ignition cycle. There is a recall on evoque 2012-2013 of exact problem, but not in this VIN number car that I affected

The contact owns a 2013 Land Rover Range rover evoque. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that there was a loss of communication with the restraint. The vehicle was taken to Land Rover richmond (11670 midlothian turnpike, 23113, va, (866) 223-3943) where it was diagnosed that the sensor and passenger side cushion needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 40,270. The VIN was not available.

The contact owns a 2013 Range rover evoque. While operating the vehicle, the air bag sensor remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the air bag module was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 14V395000 (air bags), although the failures were identical. The VIN was invalid. The failure mileage was 66,000. Passenger airbag sensor has disabled my passenger airbag. Note: Noticed other Land Rover vehicles have a recall for this same issue. If my vehicle has the same issue, shouldn't it be recalled as well? no accident, the light just came on for no reason while driving with no passenger.
