The contact owns a 2018 Land Rover Range rover evoque. On multiple occasions, while the electronic liftgate was open, the liftgate erroneously attempted to close. As a result, the liftgate made contact with a person's back on several occasions while they were leaning into the rear of the vehicle. There were no injuries. The failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The local dealer (Land Rover of sudbury in sudbury, MA) was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 1,000.
