Driving between 45-55 mph on us-52, there was a sudden loud noise and instant change in wind noise. Looking in the rear view mirror, dark debris was seen falling to the ground. After pulling over and opening the internal sunroof cover, a sizable hole was missing from the glass, with the glass pushing out toward the sky. There were no vehichles in front or behind me, nor any vehicles passing at the time of the incident. The weather was partly cloudy all day with temperatures in the low to mid 70's.
