ES 350 ES

  • Automatic transmission
  • 201,000 miles

So, this was the second time the power steering pump failed. However, this time, the power steering hoses failed with it.

There were a lot of other problems with the car, so I ultimately sold the car for really cheap. I didn't get the issues fixed. It's that guys problem now, but he is a car guy, so it's fine.

Had this problem four years ago. I tried to ignore it. It never impacted my steering, but I kept hearing the sound. I eventually got it fixed at Balise Lexus. They replaced the power steering pump. The issue resurfaced four years later.

Done buying Lexus now. I had a previous Lexus that was reliable so continued using Lexus till I got this. Its the most problematic car I have ever had and most expensive to fix. My college Ford Tempo didn't have that many problems compared to this and I take care of my cars meticulously.
